The Process.
What to expect for your
first visit?—
You will be given a new patient form to complete in the waiting room before meeting Dr. Jeff. In the first part of your appointment, a brief interview will be carried out to update your medical and dental history before discussing your dental concerns. We know that sharing your concerns can be daunting, Dr. Jeff will listen to you without judgment and do his best to make your visit relaxed and comfortable.
After that, Dr. Jeff will start to collect some information by performing a thorough examination, taking photos of your existing smile and teeth, x-rays as needed and sometimes including a 3D scan of your smile to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
After compiling all the data, Dr. Jeff will review your exam findings and plan your treatment with you, so that you understand the treatment being planned. Different treatment options will be discussed in the appointment but there is no pressure to make your decision right away. Instead, you will be given information sheets on what has been discussed along with your treatment plan so that you can go home and think about it. You make the final call and contact us when you are ready to proceed. At the end of the day, it is all about you and it is important that you are happy with the plan.

A beautiful smile is first and foremost a healthy smile that is pain-free. The first stage of your dental treatment is focused on returning your mouth to a healthy state before embarking on any aesthetic treatment. This typically involves treating any dental decay and gum disease that are present, repairing any damaged teeth and alleviating any dental pain/discomfort that you have. This is really important as a healthy mouth will form a strong foundation for your beautiful smile.
After making sure you mouth is healthy and pain-free, we can then proceed with your aesthetic treatment to improve your smile appearance. “All good things take time” may be a cliché saying, but it is especially true when it comes to realizing your dream smile. Some treatment can be completed in a short period of time; while some may take months to years to complete. Everyone is unique, so Dr. Jeff will tailor your treatment plan to fit within your budget, timeframe and your needs.
